Free cancellation
Yes, that is correct. You can book your campervan online at the lowest price (guaranteed) and cancel your booking free of charge if your plans change. Free cancellation can be done up until 22 days before the scheduled day of pick-up. Simply use the cancellation request form to cancel your booking. How easy is that?
Missed out on the free cancellation window?
Then our other flexible booking options kick in. Have a look at our Cancellation Policy for all details. However, the short version is even easier to read and to understand. If you missed out on the free cancellation policy then you can still cancel. Instead of charging a cancellation fee like other rental companies do (which means you'll lose your money), we will turn that amount into credit. You can use that credit within 2 years in all countries in the Spaceships Universe: Australia, New Zealand and the UK. You can even give the credit to a friend or family member. That means you will never lose the deposit paid.
No hidden fee policy
No one likes fees being added to a booking when you are ready to lock it in and make the payment. At Spaceships, there are never any hidden fees... And no extra fees. So make sure you are comparing apples with apples when checking prices at other campervan hire providers. The price you see on our booking site is the price you'll pay. You'll have access to the most up to date price info and availability data, the same data our crew uses. You'll always get the lowest available price for your date/route combo and if a deal is active, it'll be applied automatically. Update your booking free of charge
If your travel plans change, you can always update your booking free of charge. Just let us know and we’ll change your travel dates (subject to availability). No need to cancel your booking… Simply postpone your booking by changing your travel dates. This can be done as often as needed. We never charge a fee to make these changes, but the daily price of your rental could be higher or lower due to seasonal fluctuations. But there will never be a fee charged to make a change like that.
Postponing your booking (changing your booking dates) is always free of charge, as long as it's done before the scheduled day of pick-up.

Manage your booking
Our Online Check-in System is the online gateway to your booking. It’s like the Stargate, you step into it and you are transported to a portal that is tailor-made for you. It’s your booking and you can make lots of changes yourself.
For example, add an additional driver (free of charge as well) or add accessories to your booking. All optional accessories are listed in the Check-in Portal and you can select or deselect the ones you would like to add or remove.
Choose from specific summer accessories to keep you cool (like the popular Summer Pack) or winter accessories to keep you warm (like snow chains or the famous Winter Warmer Pack). Or go for accessories that are great to use year-round, like camping table and chairs.

Contactless pick-up & drop-off aka after-hours is free
Is your flight scheduled to arrive late or super early? No worries, you can pick up your Spaceships campervan at any time of the day or night. Picking up outside of opening hours is another free service at Spaceships. This means you can pick up your campervan 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Simply select ‘early after-hours’ (between midnight and 8am) or ‘after-hours’ (between 5pm and midnight) when booking your campervan online and follow all steps of the Online Check-in as soon as your booking is confirmed.
When contactless (after-hours) pick-up or drop-off is active, you can arrive at the depot at any time you like. There are no fixed times for after-hours (contactless) pick-up & drop-off. Just be a the depot on the scheduled day of pick-up. No staff member will be on-site, it is a fully automated process.
