The Golden Backpack Awards (GBA) are all about you, the traveller. You guys get to vote each year for your favourite campervan provider in New Zealand (and Australia). Dutch travel TV show '3 Op Reis' (BNN) travelled in a Spaceship from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo, Wanaka and Queenstown. Watch the show online (in Dutch):

'3 Op Reis' in New Zealand in a Spaceship aired between mid-February and mid-March 2017 on Dutch television. Although the show is in Dutch, everyone will love the amazing New Zealand scenery. No translation is needed.

Spaceships voted 9 out of 10 by Target (New Zealand TV)

TV3's Target was an award-winning consumer information show in New Zealand that ran until 2013.

They took a close look with their hidden cameras at how clean and how safe budget campervans really are - unbeknown to the Spaceships crew they "hired" Scrad one of our Beta Spaceships and put it under close inspection. The bed went under UV light, swabs were taken on all amenities and road safety checks were done by a qualified mechanic!

Spaceships were awarded a 9 out of 10 which took into consideration our service, vehicle facilities, road safety, cleanliness and cost.
